Kindred: A Family Portrait
Man has always had a strong connection with nature. It is the first thing we think of when we want to get away from life’s trials. But, perhaps it is not that we want to get away so much as it is our need to find familiarity, likeness, comfort and acceptance. In nature we find all these things and more: beauty, strength and power, giving and yes, the blemished as well—all things we see in each other. It’s like looking into a mirror.

Captions Of Life
A photography/poetry book that will be used along with Music Therapy with elderly to enhance their well-being of daily living. Each poem and photo will share a story that will allow for each individual to remember stories and bring new awareness to their current situation in a more positive way. This therapy will also encourage each individual to look within themselves and help in their continued life purpose through poetry and photography.
